How to reset user password from admin center

If you're an admin and need to reset a user's password, follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center: Http://admin.microsoft.com

  2. Navigate to Users > Active users

  3. Select the user whose password you want to reset.

  4. Click “Reset password” at the top of the user details pane.

  5. Choose whether to:

    • Automatically generate a password

    • Let you create one manually

  6. Decide whether to require the user to change their password on next sign-in.

  7. Click “Reset”
