How to release Office 365 Quarantine Email

For Regular Users:

  1. Go to the Quarantine Portal

    • Visit security.microsoft.com/quarantine.

    • Sign in with your Microsoft 365 account.

  2. Find the Quarantined Email

    • Use filters to search by sender, subject, or date.

    • You can also sort by quarantine reason (e.g., spam, phishing, malware).

  3. Review the Message

    • Click the email to preview its content.

    • Check headers and attachments if needed.

  4. Release the Email

    • Click “Release message” to deliver it to your inbox.

    • Optionally, click “Report as false positive” to help Microsoft improve filtering.

  5. Allow Future Emails (Optional)

    • You can add the sender to your Safe Senders list in Outlook or Exchange settings.
